New House Pics... Finally!! : )

Here's our new home! We have a couple of trees in the front yard and plan to add some tropical plants as well as a palm tree. We love our street - its quiet and the park is just around the corner (literally). Here's Nick hamming it up for the camera. The previous owners had not changed anything including the carpet since they had moved in (2002). Here's what the carpet looked like before... and after...

It's a beige color and looks wonderful with all our furniture! What a difference!

We have been so busy trying to get stuff done around the house. The first thing we did was change out all of the carpet. We have changed all of the door hardware and hinges from brass to brushed nickel. We have changed all of the light fixtures to brushed nickel. The exterior lighting has been updated. Almost all of our pictures are hung up. I need to hem the curtains for the breakfast nook and guest room. We have stainless steel appliances in the kitchen now. I'll add that pic later since I need to clean off the countertop first. Its driving Tom crazy! : )

We are probably going to paint the exterior next year. So, that is all of the home stuff for now...
