Yeah, that's right! I got my paci in all by myself! It still works upside down too.
"Ho! Ho! What do you want for Christmas?" is the reply we get when we ask Nick what Santa says. So funny! Here he is in the tub pretending to be Santa.

Thanksgiving 2008

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Owen had a great 1st turkey day! I think he'll be ready to start eating soon because he just stares at us while we eat. Poor thing but I'm not in any hurry to start feeding him solids. He's growing so fast already. Sigh. And, Nick loved eating turkey so much that he was asking for it at breakfast time.

Here's Owen showing some school spirit! Nick wore this little Pitt State sleeper too. They both outgrew it quickly but looked so adorable wearing it.
Gotta have a little tummy time! Owen's going to be crawling before we know it.

Touch Your Toes!

Owen grabbed his toes for the first time while sitting in his high chair! So CUTE!

Ofcourse we had to get a picture of Nick too!

Happy Halloween!

What a cute bat! Cutest one I've ever seen!!
Here are our sweeties. All dressed up and ready to go. Owen wore a Halloween sleeper which came with a matching pumpking rattle. Adorable!
Here's Nick with "the girls" from across the street.

Here's what Nick does when we say smile. Such a ham!

Nick had a great time trick or treating this year. When we got to the door he would say "peas, tick-a-teat, sank you and happy halloween". Nick helped Daddy hand out candy after they finished visiting some houses. Nick had so much fun that he wanted to wear his costume the next day and go trick or treating some more. He got to wear his costume several more times on Saturday even outside after dinner.

May God protect you, little one.
And bless you from above
With everlasting happiness
And with His precious love!
Pastor Frank baptized Nick and Owen on September 21.
Pastor Frank had just joked about Owen being asleep already and he hadn't even started preaching yet.

Had to hurry and get a picture after church because the boys were ready to change clothes and eat lunch!

Hangin' out with Daddy on Saturday morning! Nick loves to eat cereal just like Daddy in the mornings and he looks forward to the weekends when he can play with Daddy all day long since he's got 2 whole days off!
tickle, tickle.
Owen is growing so fast! He is such a sweetheart and a happy little guy. I am amazed at how relaxed he is while we change his diaper and clean his little nose out.
Aahhh. Here's my other sweetheart making his "Nemo" face and sitting on Tuga the turtle.
My angels.

This morning at breakfast...

Aaaaahhhh.... I love seeing Owen smile! He has started smiling alot more this last week, especially when I tickle his cheeks and chin.
Nick wanted a sandwich for breakfast after we read one of his books. So, I made him a PB&J. This is the messiest he has ever gotten eating one. He's usually pretty neat!
I am amazed at how quickly time passes by during the day. I've got 2 little guys that keep me very busy!

August 28, 2008

Well, we went to Owen's 1 month checkup and he is doing great! He now weighs 10# 12oz. and measures 23.5 inches!
Later that day, we all went to Nick's 2nd dentist appt. I'm happy to report that he does not have any cavities. He did not want the dentist brushing his teeth though. Dr. Martin noticed that 2 of his 2 year molars are coming in! Cutting teeth has never seemed to bother Nick.
Thank goodness!

Here's another sleeping baby picture. I can't help it!

This is how you do it!

Here's Nick testing out the tummy time mat. He used it when he was an infant and still likes it. Look Owen, this one plays music!
Owen enjoys batting at the toys and kicking the little beach ball.

I have a feeling that Owen used to hold his hands like this when he was in my tummy. What a sweetheart.

Grandma Jan's visit

We all had a wonderful visit with Grandma Jan! It was a very relaxing week. Owen cuddled and got plenty of zzz's in her arms. Nick enjoyed playing with Grandma too!

The Boss...

Nick saw this ad as I was flipping through my Parents magazine and he immediately copied the little boy's expression and how he's holding his hands. We think its hilarious!
