Dinosaur week at school

July 5-8, 2010

Its all about Dinosaurs this week at school. Miss Rachel gave Owen a mask when we dropped Nick off in the morning. They had so much fun pretending to be dinos!

San Antonio Trip

June 18-21, 2010

We drove up to San Antonio to see Cassie before she went back to CO. We had a great time! We are so proud her! Cassie enlisted in the Army, has made it through basic training and tech school. She will be heading to Honolulu this month where she will be stationed. We'll be watching for cheap airfare so we can come visit!

Nick's 1st time at Preschool (Summer Session)

June 21, 2010

Nick's first day of summer preschool. We talked a lot about going to school and how much fun it would be. We reassured Nick that I would pick him up when class was over. We visited the classroom a couple of times before the big day. Nick didn't show any hesitation when we got to school on the 1st day. He found new toys to play with and didn't even look back. Owen was a different story. He didn't want to leave and cried everytime we left Nick for the first 3 days. He is doing much better now and understands that we'll pick Nick up after lunch. Nick loves school and wants to keep going! Yay! Nick came home with ickey ickey or ooey gooey (can't remember what it's called). He shared it with Owen and they played with it all afternoon! Its like playdoh but it doesn't crumble as much.

Our 16th Anniversary

June 4-6, 2010

We celebrated our 16th anniversary in S. Padre. Even Jack went to the beach with us. We had a great time! We LOVE living so close to S. Padre!!

It was really humid. My camera fogged up fast! Nick and Owen wanted their picture taken by the bears at the front of the hotel.

all gone... Owen didn't want any part of sitting on the fun motorcycle while getting his haircut. Instead, he sat on the countertop enjoying a lollipop. The lollipop worked instantly in getting him to stop crying. Shew. I hope it goes better next time. Tom and I think his hair looks thicker now.

So, Owen copies everything Nick does. He's now wanting to dress like big brother too. : )
