Uh oh! He's getting good at climbing...

6/19/07
So, when I left the living room to go into the kitchen, Nick was standing next to the couch. From the kitchen, I could see the top of his little head on the other side of the couch pillows. I didn't hear him climb onto the couch so I was a little surpised to see him up there.

He is enjoying playing with some old dog tags and likes to put them in one cup and then move them to another cup.

6/20/07
Here's Nick the next day... So, I'm used to him climbing onto the couch now but the little turkey decided to climb into our ottoman by himself!

Looks like he's having fun!

6/23/07 Nick loves to be outside! He will bring me his shoes so that I can put them on him. Nick will also bring me my shoes and then take me to the door so we can go out.

Got my shoes on, looks like its nice outside.... Still got my pj's on but I'm ready to go!

Nick turned 16 months old on May 30th. He is so entertaining! He is doing great with sign language. Nick can sign Sleep, Bath, Eat, More, Book, Motorcycle, Toothbrush, All Done, Potty (hopefully this will help when we start potty training), Banana, Airplane, Bird. He is saying hot, something that sounds like tweet tweet when he signs bird, all done, off, out, meow (leaves out the e) and ut for up.

My 1st Kids Workshop at Home Depot

Nick and I were in at Home Depot earlier in the week looking for a new door knob and the employee who helped us told us about the Kids Workshop coming up. She thought Nick would enjoy it and encouraged us to come. It sounded fun so we went!
Got my apron on and I'm ready to build a plane.
Daddy built the plane while Nick & I supervised. Nick was more interested in all of the balloons that were hanging around.
Final inspection: Looks like Daddy did a great job putting this together. We'll see how long it takes me to take it apart.

Packing Peanuts!

Who knew packing peanuts would be so much fun? Don't worry, no peanuts were eaten. Nick loved dumping the box over and walking through all of the peanuts.
Here he is waving bye bye.
These feel cool!
Nick is standing on a couple of books because he's figured out he is taller and can reach more stuff by doing that. He wants to climb on everything like the window sills and the couch. If he can't do it himself, he'll stand next to whatever he wants to climb on, lift up one leg and say "ut" for up.

Aloha!

Grandpa came for a visit while he was in town for business. He also brought back gifts from Hawaii. Grandpa & Grandma went there for their 21st anniversary and had a wonderful time. I'll wear this pirate hat if I can keep my ball cap on. Modeling his hawaiian outfit.

I'm going to get you, Mommy! Nick loves to chase and be chased. He also enjoys playing hide and seek.

Story time with Grandpa. Nick continues to love reading books.

Mother's Day 2007

I had a great Mother's Day! My guys gave me a gift certificate for a 1 hour massage and a cd I had been wanting. Plus they took me out for lunch! This is Nick's new thing. He loves getting into my wallet and taking everything out of it.

Church Cousins

May 5, 2007
We decided it might be a good idea to let the kids burn off some energy after their long car ride to TX. So, we walked over to the park and played for a little while.

Here's Tasia showing off her great climbing skills!
Thanks Mom, but I can push this by myself!
This is Nick's new thing. He wants to push the stroller instead of riding in it.
