These boots are made for walkin...

Thank you Grandma Jan for the cowboy boots! I pulled them out of my closet and wore them around the house on Friday. I think they look great with my outfit!
Nick got upset with me when I took them off after he had been wearing them for about 15 minutes. So, I put them back on him and he toddled around the house some more. At first he walked a little funny in them but that only lasted a few minutes. I think he likes 'em!

Feeding the dogs

Oh, lookie here. There's dog food left in this bowl...Think I'll pick some up and see if Pete & Jack are hungry...
Here ya go, Jack.
Here ya go, Pete.
Luckily, Nick doesn't show much interest in eating the dog food. He just likes giving it to the dogs. He has also figured out how to open their food container, take the scoop out and then walks over to the bowls like he's putting food in them. Too smart! Needless to say, the pantry door stays completely closed now.

Sandbox

Nick loves to be outside. He went straight to the water faucet and grabbed the wand. Then he headed for the plants and pretended to water them. I am amazed by everything he tries to do!

Now he's using the wand to test out the sandbox. He is growing up too fast!

Learning New Tricks Every Day

Nick learned how to climb onto his fire truck and push it along with his feet. He looks so cute riding it around the house! Nick loves books! Even this Target coupon book is interesting to him. I think he's trying to be sweet so I'll let him play with the camera. Little Stinker!

Another trick. Where's your belly button?
There it is!!!

March 31st Easter Egg Hunt

We went to Scott & Laura's house for an Easter Egg Hunt. There were plenty of kids there for Nick to watch. Nick found Gabriel's lawn mower and tried it out. It was a beautiful and fun day!

Taking a break to pose with Daddy.
Back to mowing the grass.

Thanks Mom! I needed something to drink after all this yard work.

First, Nick would step on the eggs and figured out he could open them that way. It didn't take him too long to become curious and pick up the eggs.

He liked opening the eggs and seeing what was inside.

March 10th visit w/ Uncle Josh & Aunt Melmo

What a big helper and copycat!
I can clean just like Mommy!
We feel so fortunate to have such a happy boy. He's a sweetheart!
Story time with Uncle Josh.
Nick likes hanging out with his uncle even if he makes him wear silly hats.

Nick's little vacuum

Here we go! Since Nick likes our vacuums so much we bought him one that was his size.

Oh! You've got the camera out. I was so busy cleaning that I didn't notice.
Here's my serious pose. Nope, not gonna smile. Kind of reminds me of an old western photo when everyone looked so serious. Like this...
